Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts is paying a striking tribute to women this 8th March with different actions. One of the main ones is the projection of different photographs of office and accommodation staff on Benidorm's 'tecnohito', a spectacular advertising support more than 22 metres high. This large screen, located at the junction of Avenida Mediterráneo, Plaza Triangular and Calle Esperanto, will show throughout the day images of female workers from all areas involved in the group's activity (head office staff, managers, floor maids, receptionists, seamstresses, cooks, housekeepers...), as a tribute to all the women whose dedication contributes to making tourism a key sector on the Costa Blanca.

In addition to this projection, images of women workers are also being shown in the 'technopark' located on Avenida del Mediterráneo in Benidorm, a large, state-of-the-art marquee.

In addition, the chain's accommodations that are currently open (Magic Rock Gardens, BC Music Resort, Cristal Park, Villa Luz, Villa Venecia and Villa del Mar) will show different snapshots on the screens (digital signage) of the establishments. Magic's social networks and offices will also join in this celebration of Women's Day with videos with photographs taken previously in the usual workplace of the workers.

Along with this multimedia action, Magic Costa Blanca has also delivered today to all the workers who are currently part of its staff (more than 260) a gift box with different gifts and a letter of thanks. This gift is made by a company that collaborates with ILUNION, a socially and environmentally responsible business project of the ONCE Foundation, so the gift will also have a solidarity aspect. To round off this 8th March, Magic will be holding a small lunch for all its office and hotel workers, an event that will serve to emphasise the importance of celebrating this day of equality, also in the tourism sector.

María García, director of Magic Costa Blanca, emphasised that for the chain "it is fundamental to commemorate the day which has been celebrating, for more than a hundred years, the rights won by women in all areas and our great effort to achieve them. Through actions such as projecting images of women workers inside and outside the hotels and giving them a small gift, we want to highlight the role, not always recognised, of all the women who work hard every day to ensure that thousands of people enjoy unique tourist experiences every year. Behind a holiday there are many people who are not always seen and who deserve our recognition".
