From 12 to 28 May 2023, the Magic Robin Hood holiday resort, located next to Benidorm, will once again host a great event in which the world of board games, gaming, cosplay and anime will be the protagonists. cosplay and anime will take centre stage.

The 'Magic Play Fest' will have activities for the whole family, including tournaments and demonstrations, meetings with streamers-influencers, cosplay contests, parades, stands and specialised shops, talks and the presence of characters from well-known sagas and comics.

Both those staying at the resort and the general public (by purchasing day passes) will also be able to enjoy the attractions of the resort belonging to the Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts chain (video games areas, multi-adventure, slides and swimming pool, laser tag...).

National headquarters for gaming and family leisure

With this great event, the Costa Blanca resort will become the national epicentre of gaming and fun, after having already hosted a great board game festival in March, which will be repeated in 2024. In addition, this year Magic Robin Hood will also host a festival dedicated to beer, a magic congress and special activities for dates such as Christmas or Halloween, a full calendar that serves to 'deseasonalise' the offer and offer new experiences to tourists and residents beyond the summer.

The event will have different themes each week. Thus, from 12 to 14 May it will be the turn of cosplay with workshops and competitions, from 15 to 21 May fans of Japanese culture will enjoy activities related to anime and cosplay and, finally, from 22 to 28 May it will be the turn of video games and board games.

Millions of impacts on Social Networks for Benidorm and the Costa Blanca

It's worth noting that throughout the month, the Magic Play Fest will feature members of the professional eSports team 'KPI Gaming' such as Corvus, Noni, Tanizen, Flipin and Khan. These gamers have more than 40 million impacts on Social Media every month, which will undoubtedly serve to raise awareness of the Costa Blanca around the world through their live shows and publications. This month, streamers such as Keroro, Jackwise, Wadeotaku, Quinto Emperador and Uchibros, content creators with millions of followers, will also visit the resort.

Among the talks planned for the Magic Play Fest, it is worth highlighting the presence of members of the ONCE Foundation at the event, who will be speaking at the resort on Saturday 27 May about the integration of people with alternative abilities in the world of gaming and eSports.
