The first hotel dedicated to spreading the 'Spain Brand' will be located in Benidorm.

    Villa España, Benidorm
    Trends

Villa España Hotel' is the name of a major project that is expected to see the light of day in the city of Benidorm from next year, 2023. The new accommodation, belonging to the Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts chain, a hotel group with more than 40 years of experience creating holiday experiences, will be located in the grounds of the current three-star 'Hotel Magic Fenicia', built in 1975 and renovated in 2003.

The special feature of the new hotel in Benidorm is that it will be the first accommodation dedicated exclusively to promoting the heritage (art, culture, history, gastronomy, tourism...) of 'Marca España'.

The old space occupied by 'Magic Fenicia' will be completely refurbished and extended, a work that will place 'Villa España' on the front line of the Poniente beach (next to the Paseo Colón, the old town and the marina of the city); an ambitious and innovative hotel that has been conceived as an international showcase for the Spain brand.

An immersive experience with themed rooms and suites dedicated to different locations, without sacrificing leisure and relaxation.

Villa España will have a '4 star superior' category and its 316 rooms and suites will be themed with the name of different localities of our country, spreading its heritage and history in a worldwide reference destination such as Benidorm, visited by thousands of tourists, national and international, every year.

The aim is that the accommodation, through its decoration and the latest technology, shows all our cultural, artistic and landscape heritage, highlighting the melting pot of cultures of our country. Villa España will therefore be an immersive experience that will showcase the virtues of Spain, fused with the best of other cultures, without renouncing to offer the latest trends in the sector in terms of leisure, entertainment, gastronomy, decoration, etc.

The philosophy of the 'Spain Brand' will be present in all areas of the hotel, such as gastronomy and decoration, elements that will combine tradition and innovation. The rooms and suites will, of course, play an important role in this experience. Each floor of the hotel will be dedicated to an autonomous community and each room will bear the name of a locality. In addition, in all of them there will be different objects, physical and virtual, representative of the culture, history and heritage of the Spanish municipalities (images, audiovisual material, decorative elements, figures, welcome letter...).

"To raise awareness of our heritage, history and culture and to stimulate tourism and employment by offering the latest trends in the sector".

Javier García, vice-president of Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts has highlighted the hotel group's commitment to continue innovating and offering leisure spaces in which to live experiences to remember: "At Villa España, holidays will be unique and will not be at odds with art and good taste. We will offer visitors a unique value proposition through the latest trends in technology and entertainment. The theming of spaces such as the rooms will also serve to showcase our heritage and that of hundreds of Spanish towns to the thousands of national and international tourists who visit Benidorm every year. In addition, in the accommodation we will offer the latest advances in the sector so that visitors can enjoy unique and innovative experiences in areas such as gastronomy, leisure, decoration and entertainment".

García, after two years of pandemic, has highlighted the importance of tourism as a driver of the economy and employment. "Despite the tough months, it is essential to continue to support this type of project and offer visitors new proposals for their holidays, leisure and relaxation. The new accommodation will not only showcase the richness and uniqueness of Spain's heritage around the world. We hope that it will be a stimulus for the sector and employment in the Valencian Community".
